Chemical peels have been in the market for a while now. The procedure can be done not only on the face but also on the back, legs, arms and even the groins. What you need to know about peels is:
1. Only MMC board certified Allopathic dermatologists are supposed and are thoroughly trained to do a peel. So, know your doctors credentials
2. Chemical peeling done at a Salon or Parlour is illegal and also extremely risky. Because a peel can cause severe burns some of which can be permanent.
3. Peels can be made of glycolic acid, salicylic acid, mandelic acid, glutathione based etc. Your dermatologist will be able to guide you on which one is better
